Merry (belated) Christmas

So my boyfriend and I built a Christmas trees out of wine bottles (actually, he built it). I am allergic to the scent of most Christmas trees so this was a creative alternative.

I am against buying wrapping paper (so expensive) so I wrapped this little box with a brooks brother's bag and tied it with a sparkly ribbon.

These two boxes (above and below) are wrapped in ads from Vogue magazine.

High fashion is much prettier than snowmen anyway.

How amazing is this high-low dress by Katherine of La Petite Marmoset? I picked it up during Katherine's look book party at Violet Boutique in Adam's Morgan. Have you been there? I recommend it! Violet has an amazing collection of dresses, blouses, and fun holiday tops. It is priced reasonably with clothing you will not find online or at other boutiques in the area.
